I love me a white t-shirt, and I usually find the best ones at Anthropologie. This little beauty is from LeifNotes which is an extension of Leifsdottir. This brand is known of their easy to wear, fun, flirty clothing. I'm going to absolutely live in this piece this summer.
Starting out this Monday I'm bringing back a list of things that are currently in my heavy rotation.
First up, is my perfume Feerie by Van Cleef & Arpels. I'm a big huge fan of this brand's jewelry, and when I use to work for Neiman Marcus we would spray this around like air freshener. I'm still in love with the scent to this day. Unfortunately, it comes at a steep price. Lucky for me lil b gave me a tip that I'm gladly sharing with all of you... FragranceNet.com. This site sells almost any scent you can think of at a fraction of the cost.
I can't help buying an essie nail polish whenever I see them displayed. This latest snag is apart of their luxeffects line, which is more or less en enhancer to any other polish you slide on. In the summer I really like to keep my nail colors natural or use light tones. I am currently just wearing this shade alone on my hands. It just adds a little something without having to say a whole lot.
What can I say about Fifty Shade of Grey... I guess I've joined the bandwagon. I started reading this last week, and I'm very interested to see how things unfold.
Lastly, are my Michael Kors candy dipped aviator shades. I think they are perfect for summer, and when you're heading to the beach. They also look great paired with an all white outfit.
A great accessory can really transform an entire outfit. As far as shopping goes I find that I gravitate towards things to enhance a look before the actual pieces themselves. I've gathered up a great selection of stand out pieces that any girl would love to have during my retail years. I find that when I'm in a certain clothing mood I can really translate that thru my accessory choices.
Right now I am loving my piano key bib necklace that I got from JCrew last spring. I wear this thing whenever and with whatever. I have found that it really gives things to basic neutral pieces, but also helps me to break up pattern looks. It really is the best necklace I've ever spent money on. The style of it is timeless, and as long as I don't break or lose it I'll wear it forever.
The little white bag I think is a necessary summer time piece. The one I've been toting around for the past couple weeks belonged to my great Aunt. This woman had such innate style- she always looked like a million bucks. This particular bag is made by Berge. I tried to search it before putting this post together, but didn't come up with much about it other than other cute bags for sale on Barney's site. I love this bag because it's versatile. It can go from sitting on my shoulder to resting in my hand. I only wish I had 5 more in different colors.
This weekend we celebrated the upcoming wedding of two of my college friends, Katie & Andy. Despite the overcast weather the rain did hold off. We all got to enjoy the start of summer weather and play backyard games. It was a cookout with a twist they served us speciality pizzas from a brick oven. I left with a full tummy and heart. It's so good whenever I get to spend time with my college roommates. I can't wait until we get to repeat this a month from now.
Sleepy Sunday Shots. Went to see Snow White & the Huntsman this weekend- highly recommended. Charlize is gorgeous as usual and the special effects are out of control. This week is going to bring more rainy days. I'm going to get lots of use out of my blue JCrew rain shoes.
Just thought I'd let all of you know I made it out alive. Over the weekend I was most definitely not my spunky self. I got to catch up on my sleep, be carried around like the baby I am, and eat extra treats. My mom calls me minnie I think because I'm so tiny and cute. She picked up OPI's special Minnie Mouse addition of polishes, and is currently wearing Nothin' Mousie 'Bout It. All the shades are ultra girly, and perfect for summer. I can't wait to take long walks and run around like crazy on Saturday.
