i hope tomorrow, is like today.
My life's a little upside down at the moment, but it's a good thing. You need to get shakin up every once in awhile. For the first time since I graduated from college I'm not sure where I'm heading or what's going to happen. I'm excited to have options infront of me, and I'm embracing the unknown.

"We are here because of the music, we inspire the music. We're band aids."
If you can't tell from the above photos I go to a fair amount of shows. I'm a sentimental fool and I keep all the stubs from every shows I've ever seen. Holding onto the stubs is like a physical memory of the good times I've had.
For awhile I kept all the stubs in a glass bowl, and that seemed to do the trick for me for a little while. I always wanted to glue all of them together to make a design on a table, but it be frank I just got lazy about it. Instead I bought the biggest frame available at Target, and started my own patchwork quilt of stubs.
It's nice to get to look at all of my memories of the fun times I've had. Music's a big part of my life, and now it's a part of my home.
Salem Photo Diary
Salem, MA land of witches, downtown charm, and all things creepy crawly. Recently my roommates and I took a trip down to Salem to have our fortunes read. It's always nice to get some outside perspective of what's going on in your life, and where you're headed.
It had snowed the whole day before we got there, and it added a little special touch to the day. All the shots of the book store are insane. The last time we went to visit our psychic I tried to take a photo in said book store, and got scoffed at by the owner. Who laughs last now?

Liebster Blog
Awwe this was very sweet, unexpected, and certainly made my night. One of my fellow high school survivors nominated me for a Libster Blog Award. I must say I've grown to love her blog as well: It's a CharM'ed Life. She provides great tips for entertaining, has a fun fashion sense, and shares the joys of being a newlywed. Thanks again Charlene!
So I'm sure you're all wondering what this all exactly means: Liesbter in German means dearest, beloved, or favorite, and it is for bloggers with under 200 followers.
The rules are:
1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
3. Copy & paste the blog award on your blog.
4. Reveal your 5 blog picks.
5. Let them know you chose them by leaving a comment on their blog.
My 5 Picks are...
The Life of a Paperdoll
Paper Boy
The Well Versed Wardrobe
Everything Is the Worst
CRUSH
she had yellow pants so help me god, yellow pants.
Express: white button down/ Elie Tahari: golden yellow cigarette pants/ Brian Atwood: Manic Pumps hot pink
I wont lie sometimes my outfit inspirations comes from other places other than my own original thoughts. There cats out of the bag. This outfit combo came from creeping on my roommate's pinterest account. Now I am very curious about this online outlet, however I haven't joined yet myself.
The outfit on my friends pinterest was of a girl with bright neon orange cigarette pants, a plain oversized white button down, and hot pink pumps with bows on them. A light went off for me... I have all those types of things-1, I love this look-2, and I can pull all these things together-3.
I love to see outfits on other people that I know live in my own closet. As someone who loves to play with clothes, and dream up looks of my own sometimes it's easy to just play copy cat, and spin off someone else's outfit dream.
The Mindy Report
Hi Bloggies!!! It's me again Mindy. I thought I would share a few things that make my day brighter, and one that I could do without. Above is me snoozin tits in my Martha Stewart bed. I am one lucky pup! All you fashion girls out there know my momma has a Fendi well I showed her up and I have an exclusive pink Fendig. You can spot it right behind my back in this picture!
Eww the above three shots so not cute. I can't stand baths, but my mom says I need em so I don't get bugs, and I can smell like roses. Personally I think I look frightened for my life in those, but I'll have you know my mom and her friend Brenna giggled the entire time... I'll find a way to show them who laughs last.
Ouuu I love snuggling with my fellow curly headed friend Sarah. I love snuggling with just about anyone. I look particularly cozy here.
Lastly, I love photo shoots. I'm tough to catch as I love to run, jump, and play around but when mom gets me at just the right time I always look my cutest.

a few things.
So, I've loved these fruits ever since my mom first got them years ago. Finally she gave them to me this past weekend.
From a distance these fruits look like the real deal. It's only until your up close that you notice the little glistening beads on them. This will guarantee to jazz up my kitchen space.
I've had my eye on this little baby for awhile now, and this past Friday I snagged it. This pave link bracelet is from JCrew. I'll let all you shoppers know that this piece has sold out several times since it was introduced. So, if you want your arm party to sparkle snap it up quick.
I plan to wear it stacked with my menswear Michael Kors gold toned watch.
Oh, Paper Source my love affair has begun with you. Back during Christmas I had my friend Kara's gift wrapped at Papyrus in some glittering pink wrapping paper. I was pleased to find a rainbow of options at Paper Source in the same glittery texture.
I settled on this white shade, but I know I'll be back for more. This paper instantly transforms gift giving, and makes even the smallest gift magical and special.
My final favorite thing this week has to be these little Hello Kitty mix and match earrings. These are just fun and eye catching. I might as well embrace my inner 5 year old before I officially become an old lady.

tebow touchdown massacre
This past Saturday my family got together to watch the highly buzzed about Patriots Broncos game. For weeks now every media outlet had been talking about how Tim Tebow's shit didn't stink, and well I'm afraid it does.
In getting ready for this Sunday's match up I have a few tips to ensure a successful Pats celebration.
Dress for the occasion. We were all decked out in Pats gear, but my niece had the best outfit from head to toe. We added the little red, white, and blue sparklers to her pig tails she looked like a little cheerleader.
Keep the game interesting. We were all winners that night!
Indulge in the best munchies. We had a buffalo chicken tenders, shrimp cocktail, pita and hummus, and the best nacho dip. Above is a shot of the dip and here's how you make it:
Bottom layer cream cheese, middle chili, and lastly shredded cheese. Pop in the oven for 15-20 mins and enjoy! Yup it's just that easy even you males could handle it.
We weren't accepting failure so we had some champagne on ice. There was no doubt the Pats were going to pull it thru. The game was a sealed deal in the first half.
Not trying to be cocky but we'll see ya at the Superbowl Madonna!

sometimes it's okay to embrace the trends
I must admit ladies when the denim on denim trend first reared it's ugly head I was not a fan. I couldn't accept the thought of wearing jeans with denim on top. All I could envision was a total 80's attack and I wanted to run the other direction.
Almost a year and a half after this trend came out I'm now in full support of it. I love the look of colored jeans and a chambray button down shirt. I've worn colored denim with a chambray shirt sooo many different ways: yellow, red, electric blue, mint... I could go on & on.
Another trend I'm completely on board with is headbands. I'm currently watching the Golden Globes and I've seen some beautiful headbands on the likes of Michelle Williams and Charlize Theron. They can add a special touch to a look, and those two beauties wear them very well.
My headband is three black leather flowers and gold stones and it's from Elie Tahari. Now technically this wasn't meant to be a headband. It's actually a necklace, but I like it so much better this way.
Just a little head to toe view. So you heard it here style setters I think it's a ok to embrace the trends... sometimes, and learn to make a few of your own on the way.

so fresh & so clean
Anthropologie Silk Robe
Getting ready every morning and unwinding every night doesn't mean you shouldn't have a few fun things to get you there. My robe is one of the pretty little things I own that I actually use each day. I love the watercolor flowers on it reminds me of a beautiful old print. The robe is made entirely of silk which is nice for spring/summer.
One of my good friends introduced me to Clarisonic, and for that I'm forever grateful. I love this item it was totally the $175 price tag. It's an item I use almost everyday, and has left my skin feeling very smooth.
Searching for the perfect face is a constant hunt for me. You know how some face washes can leave your skin filmy? Biggest pet peeve of mine! Currently, I'm using Murad. It's light and leaves my skin feeling completely cleansed. If you have any recommendations for me please drop em down.
Oribe Signature Shampoo & Conditioner
Not only do the products improve the quality of your hair they smell fantastic. Fun Fact Alert: Tom Ford, the master of all things high quality perfected Oribe's scents. Personally Mr. Ford can do no wrong, and these products leave a nice clean scent.

give me a hand.
index, middle & pinky fingers: OPI Warm & Fozzie/ ring finger: essie I Need A Vacation & MiniLuxe confetti
Love fun manicures. It's an easy excuse to play with color and add a little sparkle to your everyday.
The Warm and Fozzie color from the Muppets OPI collection is a really rich caramel color with a throw in of glitter. The dash of pink is an unexpected splash of girlyness gotta love it.
This is a fun manicure idea for my favorite upcoming holiday.

a few things, for your viewing pleasure.
This was a happy accident today. In the city today it was mid-50's super nice out, and I was happy I got to break out these Converse kicks today. I totally didn't mean to wear two different colors, but in the end I'm pretty okay with it.
essie:Need a Vacation & Chanel: June
These sherbet colored nail polishes make me pretty happy. Using them during the winter months will bring me one step closer to spring and warmer weather. The Chanel one is particularly special as it's named after my birth month.
Ugh... this jacket is so good. I had been holding off for God know's why all Fall. This is from Elie's runway collection Fall2011. It keeps me super warm and all the details from the lace to the fur really make it special. My selling point to customers on this baby is the fact that he'll never remake this piece.
Lastly, this Volcano candle from Anthropologie smells amazing. I've gotten the Capri Blue in red several times. The smell is hard for me to pin down it's something between sangria and fresh cut flowers. Anyway... highly recommend it as it overpowers even the strongest odors.
feel the rhythm... feel the rhyme
Skrillex
I would never claim to be a music expert by any means, but it's something I have a real passion for. I love finding new music, and better than that I love to share it.
When I was a little kid I would always freak my older sister's friends out by knowing the words to all their favorite songs. I can listen to a song once, and take almost all the lyrics away from it. Some might call that a gift... I always thought it was annoying that I could remember every word from Pearl Jam's Ten album but not how to do long division.
I've all the past year or so I've gotten into a bunch of really different types of music that I was never interested in before. Below is some of the rips off of Skrillex's new album Bangarang. Let me tell you... if you weren't a fan before you will be now.
This first song "Summit" features Ellie Goulding. I can sum her up as a British pop fairy. She looks the part and sounds it too. A fun fact about Ellie is she was the only person to perform at William & Kate's reception. Pretty badass if you ask me... This song is one of the slower off the album, but it packs a nice beat, and her voice really adds an haunting touch to it.
This next one is called "Kyoto" it's closer to the Skrillex I've come to know and appreciate. It's a hard edge to it with a slamming beat that doesn't let up. The song features Sirah she's another female on this album that really adds to Skrillex's beats.
The title track off this album... "Bangarang" featuring Sirah. I think Skrillex had a major thing for her throwing her voice into two of his beats on this album. Her rap on this isn't so much of a presence as it is a throw in of fun. I mean come on, she mentions eating fun dip and not giving a fuck, and I'd have to say listening to this album has inspired me to do the same. xo

cher, get in here.
At first glance this top screamed Clueless to me very a la Alicia Silverstone circa 1995. The little flower daisies remind me of something you would've found in Cher's computer system closet. Have I ever mentioned that scene in a movie makes me green with envy?
Absolutely love the girly playfulness of this piece to me. I've worn it in a very sort of layered look so far. White tissue tee under/ denim button down shirt over.
In the Free People look book for December it's featured with denim cut off short shorts and a burnt orange jacket. It's nice to have a fun little piece that can move from season to season. Even though on the surface this appears to be a strictly summer concert series top I've found ways to let it brighten my New England winter depression.
